We know the release date of the Peugeot 5008

An extended wheelbase version, more spacious and roomy than the 3008, the third generation Peugeot 5008 will soon make its grand arrival, also in electric and hybrid versions. Peugeot has just confirmed its presentation date, and it is close…

The competition in the family SUV category in Europe is intense! The new Volkswagen Tiguan, Renault Scénic, restyled Hyundai Tucson, restyled Ford Kuga, future Opel Frontera, and Citroën C3 Aircross are all making a big impact! But Peugeot is also standing out.

The Peugeot 3008 is back!

The SUV 3008 is a bestseller and has set a benchmark in the segment. After its first generation in 2009, its second generation in 2016 left the competition behind with its bold style, modern interior, and advanced technologies. It has long been one of the best-selling models in France and a benchmark among SUVs. The Renault Kadjar used to be a loyal competitor, but with the introduction of the new Kadjar and electric Scénic, Peugeot has responded with the presentation of the brand new third generation of its 3008 SUV at the start of the 2023 school year! It was first presented in a 100% electric version called e-3008, followed by a hybrid version. The new generation features a much more “fastback” coupe silhouette to maximize energy efficiency, drawing a line under its purely thermal engines, especially diesel.

Big brother 5008 is approaching…

The 3008’s big brother, the 5008, provides an extended wheelbase, more spacious interior (up to 7 people), and has been a companion to the 3008 since its debut in 2009. With the third generation 3008 unveiled, the new 5008 will soon be revealed. It will be a less aerodynamic version to provide more space on board and will feature the famous lion i-Cockpit with a modernized and refined large 21-inch curved screen in the center of the dashboard. Like its counterpart, it will also be revealed in a 100% electric version, e-5008, based on the new STLA Large electric platform and available in two battery sizes, 73 or 98 kWh, aiming for 700 kilometers of autonomy. On the engine side, it will develop between 210 and 320 hp, and will also be offered with a “mild hybrid” gasoline engine. The new 5008 will be presented at the end of March!
