New Dodge Charger: it will be revealed on March 5

The legendary Dodge Charger is getting ready to make a comeback in the automotive industry with a new generation set for 2025.

Dodge’s recent announcements have revealed exciting details about the Charger, confirming the reveal date and giving a first look at this highly anticipated model.

Official Reveal on March 5, 2024

After persistent rumors, Dodge officially confirmed that the new Charger will be unveiled to the public on March 5, 2024. Enthusiasts of muscle cars can mark this date in their calendars, as that is when the production version of the concept will be fully revealed. Dodge surprised everyone by posting several never-before-seen photos on social media. The messages accompanying these photos indicate: “No cameras or recording devices are permitted. Pre-production model shown. Available at the end of 2024.”

A design inspired by the Charger Daytona SRT concept

The photos provide a glimpse of the upcoming design, confirming that this Charger will share aesthetic features with the Charger Daytona SRT concept unveiled in 2022. An illuminated Fratzog logo sits between the headlights, very close to the “R-Wing” which resembles the spoiler XXL of the 1969 Charger Daytona. Dodge has already announced that the new Charger will be equipped with an electric powertrain, all-wheel drive, and an 800-volt architecture. However, rumors also suggest the possibility of a gasoline-powered version. More specifically, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder is mentioned as an option, according to several American media. This has of course not been confirmed by Dodge, which makes no reference to the possibility of equipping its new model with such an engine.

Available end 2024

Dodge promises enthusiasts that the next-generation Charger will be available at the end of 2024. As the reveal date approaches, the automotive world’s eyes are on Dodge to learn more about what the Charger has in store for thrill-seeking drivers. Stay tuned to find out more soon.
