The Mercedes-Benz CLE lifts its top and opts for a soft roof

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest model, the new CLE Cabriolet. This four-seater convertible combines expressive design, advanced technology and premium equipment to enhance the driving experience. The CLE Cabriolet stands out with its soft fabric roof and high-quality details that give it a unique personality.

All-season comfort

The CLE Cabriolet is designed to provide a pleasant driving experience all year round. Equipped with the Aircap electric wind deflector system and the Airscarf head heating system, this model ensures comfort even in cooler weather. The soft roof, available in black, red or gray, offers optimal insulation and reduces wind noise. The electric roof opens and closes in 20 seconds, up to a speed of 60 km/h.
Inside, the CLE Cabriolet is luxurious with 12.3-inch fully digital instrumentation and a 11.9-inch driver-oriented central screen in portrait format. Available ambient lighting, leather seats, black synthetic nappa leather upholstery and chrome trim, create a high-end atmosphere. Apps like TikTok, Zoom and Audials add an extra dimension to the driving experience.

Between luxury and sport

On a technical level, the CLE Cabriolet makes no compromises. All engines are electrified (mild hybrid), equipped with an integrated starter-generator and a 48-volt on-board electrical system. The engine range offers a choice between four-cylinder units and a powerful 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine with just under 400 hp, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. Later, the German manufacturer is expected to launch the 53 AMG and 63 AMG versions, which, of course, will be positioned at the top of the range.
According to the manufacturer, the chassis of the new CLE Cabriolet combines driving pleasure on winding roads with comfort on long journeys. The comfort suspension, lowered by 15 millimeters as standard equipment, offers a comfortable ride combined with sporty handling. Sport suspension and DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension options enable a highly adjustable driving experience, tailored to the driver’s individual preferences.

At what price ?

The new Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet is now available to order in Germany, with prices starting at 66,402 euros. The European market launch is planned for the end of April 2024, followed by other markets.
