This 48-cylinder Kawasaki enters the Guinness World Records

Nicknamed ‘Tinker Toy’, this motorcycle designed by Englishman Simon Whitelock has just entered the Guiness Book of Records.

Simon Whitelock has been building unique motorcycles since 1985 and his experience has led him to create this Kawasaki extraordinaire. Equipped with 48 cylinders, it recently enters the famous Guinness Book of Records. It must be said that this vehicle is a impressive mechanical prowess. “Tinker Toy” impresses

This Kawasaki 48 cylinder two-stroke is so unique that it made its way into the Guinness Book of World Records. Its name, “Tinker Toy”, finds its origin in un bombardier B-17 Flying Fortress of the Second World War.

The motorcycle meets the requirements and can be driven on the road. It has a unique engine block with custom fuel and ignition systems, as well asa gearbox from a BMW K100. Its alternator was borrowed from a car.

To start this monster of 48 cylinders and 4200 cc (4.2 liters)Whitelock had to mount another 125 cc engine on the bike.

Why did it enter the Guinness Book of Records? Quite simply because it has the greatest number of cylinders in a land vehicle engine.
