Lynk & Co will expand its presence in 19 European countries

Lynk & Co has just formed a partnership with SEEAG, which will allow it to establish itself in new European markets, particularly in the south-east of the Old Continent.

A strategic expansion

Lynk & Cothe Sino-Swedish manufacturer founded by the Geely group and Volvo, has just signed a strategic partnership with SEEAGan importer and distributor specializing in the South-Eastern European markets, which will allow Lynk & Co to establish itself in 12 new countries of the Old Continent.
“Through this strategic deployment, we will expand our presence in the European market, solidify our brand as a leading provider of flexible mobility – and of course, offer great cars. SEEAG is a reputable industry player with strong infrastructure and operations – an ideal partner as we venture into these new territories”declared on this occasion Nicolas Lopez Appelgren, CEO of Lynk & Co.
SEEAG is an automotive group with 30 years of experience in the import, distribution, wholesale and retail of cars and spare parts, and is present in South East Europe, with more than 100 points of sale. The company has notably enabled brands such as Volvo, Geely, Kia, SsangYong, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Saab to establish themselves in this region.

Lynk & Co: from 7 to 19 markets in Europe

Currently, Lynk & Co is present on 7 markets in Europe : in Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France and Italy. Thanks to this new partnership with SEEAG, the brand will soon arrive in 12 additional countriesor a total of 19 European markets by the end of 2024: in Greece, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Moldova .
Thus, Lynk & Co will be able to expand its sales and service network across Europe, and establish a lasting and long-term presence on the Old Continent. According to SEEAG, by 2030, the market share of electric vehicles will reach 50% in this booming region of Europe.
In this region, Lynk & Co will first launch its plug-in hybrid SUV Lynk & Co 01, starting with Romania and Greece, before expanding to the other planned countries. This strategic collaboration will enable Lynk & Co to mitigate the financial risks associated with entering such a large market.

Soon, the manufacturer will lift the veil on its new plug-in hybrid sedan, called Lynk & Co 07 EM-P: a model that we could also see arrive in Europe.
